We try to keep things simple with the legal stuff, as we're doing this just for fun. For the most part we just don't want to see our hard work appear elsewhere without accreditation, or for someone else to try and use it to make profit.
The Escapism Project brand itself owns no copyright at all. Instead, the copyright for all content published on the site remains solely with the authors, photographers and contributors, who have given revocable non-exclusive permission for their work to appear here. This means that just citing us may not always be the most appropriate way of accrediting a piece of work, so its best to always get in contact with us first if you would like to re-use any content you find on this website.
We're happy for you to link back to our stuff, and use the typical social media norms for sharing our content. Just please don't remove any watermarks we have applied, post our images without credit or permission, or use our content within monetised output without prior written consent. Also don't use our logo or brand name in a way that makes it look like we have given an endorsement.
Thanking,
The Escapism Project
