Lightwater Valley have sold Raptor Attack to Cotaland, a new amusement park opening at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.
At the start of the year the park announced it was to change it's market focus, which would lead to the removal of several rides alongside Raptor Attack that were deemed to not fit the new young family market it was aiming for.
The ride's new residence will be at a new amusement park opening this Spring at the race track currently home to the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. Intriguingly, the amusement park is billed as a "kiddie amusement park", so the new owners appear to have a differing opinion on the ride's suitability for a younger market.
