Timed tickets will be required to access Derren Brown's Ghost Train when it reopens on 17th May at Thorpe Park.
Tickets will be available for no additional charge to paying guests from 9am at self-service kiosks in the Island Ticket Centre. Alternatively, guests can scan QR codes at either the attraction entrance or at the Fastrack Kiosk once the park gates open at 10am. Additional self-service kiosks will also be available at the Fastrack Kiosk.
The requirement for timed entry is due to the further capacity restrictions that will be applied to the attraction. If the attraction operates as it did prior to the coronavirus pandemic, there will need to be significant cleaning of headsets and ventilation of the air after each ride.
No fastrack will be available for the attraction, however Island Ultimate Fastrack holders will be automatically entitled to a single timed entry ticket. Similarly, Ride Access Pass entry will only be available to timed ticket holders.
Due to what is expected to be extremely limited capacity, the park does not guarantee all guests will be able to access a ticket. The park has also requested that tickets are only booked by those who intend to experience the attraction.
Similarly, new attraction Black Mirror Labyrinth will also use the same timed ticket entry. No fastrack ticket type will grant access to the attraction, however Shark Cabins guests will have exclusive access to the attraction between 10-11:30am on the second day of their stay.
